Located in the historic San Diego Jewelers Exchange, our facility brings together CAD design, wax printing, casting, stone setting, repairs, engraving, and appraisals—all under one roof.
Founder Bang Diep, a GIA Graduate Gemologist, Jeweler, Designer, and Manufacturer, acquired the space formerly operated by Golden West to carry on its legacy of excellence. After years of struggling with out-of-town vendors and costly delays, Bang knew there had to be a better way.
Gifted Jewelers is that solution.

Meet the Founder – Bang Diep
Bang’s career began at GIA, where he worked as a diamond grader and later in education and manufacturing. With advanced certifications in Bench Jewelry, Manufacturing and CAD Design (GIA JMA) and Graduate Gemologist (GIA GG), he went on
to gain experience in retail sales and custom design across San Diego.
In 2017, Bang launched his own private studio, designing bespoke pieces for clients and retailers. But one challenge kept resurfacing: San Diego lacked a dependable, full-service casting and
Manufacturing partner.
Tired of quality issues and miscommunication from fragmented vendors, Bang envisioned a new kind of production house—one built
on transparency, communication, accountability, and control. That vision became Gifted Jewelers.
